So, because I believe fitness is more mindset than ability, I wanted to get someone who knows what they’re talking about when it comes to mindset and manifestation.

With that being said, I’m so excited to introduce Ana Marie Djanish, a Mindset and Manifestation Coach! (Her deets will be below). She’s amazing, and knows a LOT about this stuff. So with that, here you go!

How to manifest your ideal weight

Manifesting and Mindset

When it comes to manifesting, three subjects that people are struggling with the most, are either money, finding their soulmate or their ideal weight.

But the truth is, nothing is harder or easier to manifest; for the Universe, everything is the same. It is just energy. It doesn’t matter if it is a cup of coffee, a million dollars or ideal weight.

So where is the problem now? It is in our minds.

Our beliefs are telling us that a million dollars is a lot of money.  That it is a big goal so it has to be harder for us to manifest and also, that it will take a lot of time.

The most important thing you need to work on is your mindset.

This is the first step and what comes after, is the action you need to take to actually see results. The action, for instance, to reaching your ideal weight, would be healthier eating habits and exercise.

Now you can actually see why some people are not seeing results they want to see.

It is their mindset.

What You Can Do to Change Your Mindset and Limiting Beliefs

First, you need to know that your limiting beliefs are deeply rooted in your subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is what keeps us alive and secure. That’s why we have our limiting beliefs, they are keeping us safe.

Subconscious is the part of the mind that you are not aware of and it takes 95% of your mind.  So, the other 5% would be your conscious mind, everything you think. All the 60 000+ thoughts you have every day is in this 5%. What do you think is creating your reality then?

Everything that is in your subconscious you learned in the first 7 years of your life. Everything that your parents taught you, their behavior and their words, your subconscious took it as the truth. It didn’t even question it.  All of the things you learned about eating habits, food, exercise and weight you learned in your childhood from your parents and your surroundings.

How is This Related to Manifestation?

Law of attraction states what you think you will attract.

What that actually means is what kind of beliefs you have about yourself is the reality you will create. Your conscious mind can think positive and you can visualize yourself all happy with your perfect weight, but if your subconscious mind doesn’t believe that and if it actually has the belief that you are not worthy of having that perfect weight, it will not manifest in your reality.

Your subconscious mind and conscious mind have to be in alignment.

Another important part of all of this is your self-worth. If you don’t love yourself, don’t accept yourself or you keep thinking that you are not worthy, what do you think your results will be?

Now you are probably thinking you can’t do anything about it but of course, you can.

There is always something you can do to become the better version of yourself so, don’t quit.

How to Change Your Mindset

The first thing you can do is to question your beliefs, inspect them, reflect on them and try to dig deep. Reflect on your childhood, your parent’s behavior and attitude. What did you learn from them? What did you learn from your surroundings and your teachers?

-Write everything in your journal.

When you get aware of your beliefs and know where they come from you can start working on changing them.

-Start slowly and take your time.

Also, you probably saw that I didn’t mention losing weight, instead I said perfect /ideal weight. I want you to stop saying losing weight and start saying perfect weight. Why?
Because of your perception.

When you are saying “losing weight”, you are focusing on the number of pounds you need to lose and that starts to stress you out, so you don’t feel good. When you change that into perfect weight you are focusing on the number you want to be at. You are focusing on the outcome and not on what you need to do to get there.

Exercises You Can Do:

  • On one side write current beliefs you have about yourself. On the other side write the opposite of those beliefs. They must be empowering beliefs you wish to have from now on.

After you are finished, cross out the limiting beliefs, write down and say out loud something like: “You no longer serve me, from now on I choose to have only empowering beliefs about myself”.

  • Turn your empowering beliefs into affirmations you can say every day.
  • Write 10 things you love about your personality and 10 things you love about your body. If it is too easy, write another 10.
  • Every day write 10 things you are grateful for.
  • Stand in front of a mirror and do the second exercise. It can be quite challenging to say all those things while looking yourself in the eyes.
  • Visualize yourself at your perfect weight and feel the feelings you would be having. Write your visualization in your journal in detail. Describe your feelings.
